Service Description

Let’s help our pups practice calm greetings and maintain focus around other dogs! 🐾 This structured, small-group workshop is designed to help dogs who struggle with overexcitement, arousal, or distraction around other dogs or people. We’ll work on polite greetings, recall, and loose leash walking while building engagement and neutrality in shared spaces. Everyone will have their own space with a blanket as we work through polite greeting exercises, increase handler engagement around other dogs, and support neutrality in shared spaces. After some training, the group will be able to have a short, supervised play session (if appropriate for the group). We use a color coded system (green, yellow, red) keep play time safe based on each dog’s comfort level and arousal. This workshop is all about creating positive interactions that will reinforce the behaviors you want to see in your dog. More details will be sent when you sign up! Questions before enrolling? Bordetella, Leptospirosis, DHPP/DA2PP & Canine Influenza needed to participate in play time (if applicable). After registration, you will receive an email with additional information, including instructions on how to upload proof of vaccinations. You're welcome to join one or all! Colors for playtime: Green: able to participate in playtime Yellow: may be able to participate depending on the group and environment Red: not participating in playtime, can join the training portion. If your dog is new, they will start as Red until they are evaluated in the workshop setting.
